I called them 3 times to make sure that if I make my deposits of more than $200 from another bank of mine where my work income comes into. The day after, the app ended up offering me the chance to sign up for it anyway so I was just being annoying - Ha! Enjoy :) But once it hits, you’ll then be eligible for the credit builder! That also takes a few days to show in the app but you can try calling them and having them manually do it. It’ll take about 3-5 days to hit your Chime account so bear in mind you’ll be without that money for a few days. Chime recognizes Amex specifically as a direct deposit rather than a regular ACH transfer like most other bank transfers. You can then login to your Serve account and transfer that $200 over to Chime. Once you get the physical card in the mail, go to 7-Eleven and load it with $200 (or more - no charge). Add your Chime account to the Serve account so you’re able to transfer funds between the two. Get yourself an American Express Serve card (free online).
I can help you with this :) Although slightly different, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of having to change all of my direct deposit information from Chase to Chime.
